A forged cast iron crib attributed in its restoration record to the late 19th or early 20th century, restored in a custom sage finish and retained as a decorative heritage piece.

The Restoration
The frame was cleaned and restored, with the original forged texture retained throughout the process.
The piece was stabilised, and a custom sage-tone glaze was applied as the finished surface treatment.
The Form
The frame is forged cast iron, with the sage-tone finish applied over the restored surface. The proportions and silhouette give the piece a strong decorative presence as a standalone interior object.
A faceted finial and a detailed lower frame foot are visible on the piece, shown in the gallery above.
